Our school is located in the heart of Otavalo only two blocks from the beautiful, historic central plaza. It is also possible for us to meet up for language classes at a local coffeeshop—whatever you prefer! At our school we have four rooms for language instruction, allowing for plenty of space for different size classes and one-on-one lessons. Also there is a kitchen where we will often prepare tea or coffee. Other times we’ll prepare  local foods.

Language learning is a multi-dimensional endeavor involving classroom instruction, conversation, reading comprehension, and practice out on the street. We utilize every method here at Otavalo Learning & Adventure; in fact, we pride ourselves on our flexibility and adaptability in meeting the specific needs of our students.

Need to practice Spanish for an eventual placement as a nurse? No problem. Desire to learn Spanish to get the most out on the intercultural exchange while backpacking South America? No problem. Furthermore, we are interested in what you want out of both your education and your time in Otavalo. We are committed to making learning Spanish fun and memorable.

Come on up to Otavalo and join us for an excursion to Mojanda Lake or the famous Plaza de Ponchos Market. We’ll have fun and whether you spend a week or eight weeks with us, you’ll finish your time here with a deeper understanding of this important language and the cultures that speak it.
